The hero of Season 2 Talks to Mayday!

Amanda Brugel talks all things Rita with Justin & Tiana! Sometimes you things just work out perfectly. We tried to setup this interview for a couple of dates but couldn't work out a day that worked. So we decided to do it so that it would release after the finale....and WOW did we luck out! Rita helps June get the baby out of Gilead and finally takes that heroic turn that we had all been wishing she would take. Amazing stuff! Enjoy!

Rita! You're the real MVP!

Writer for E12 "Postpartum"

The Handmaid's Tale on HULU leaves us once again with no idea where the show is going. Episode 12 "Postpartum" followed up the highly emotional, very different episode "Holly" in which June gives birth to her daughter. Writer Eric Tuchman is a veteran TV writer with a history of writing for strong female characters. He brings us an episode in which things unfold and reveal the depths of the flaws in Gilead's society and the toll that it takes on all involved. "Postpartum" sets in motion events, ...

Do you owe Eden an apology?

We caught up with Sydney Sweeney a couple of week's ago to discuss her character Eden. The Handmaid's Tale brought Eden into the fold as Nick's child bride and has forced viewers to confront some very uncomfortable topics along the way. Sydney Sweeney joins us to talk about joining the cast after season one, what she thinks about those contreversial story lines and how she flips the switch from Sydney to Eden. Enjoy!

Dear Eden, we're sorry. Sincerely, the Internet.

With two episodes to go in season 2 June once again finds herself in the Waterford house for tour number three. Every relationship is full of moving parts and volatile emotions as we head into the finale with more questions than answers. We finally get the answer to "Who is in the pool!?" as Eden and Isaac play star crossed lovers and end up paying the ultimate price. Meanwhile Serena has what she's always wanted but it may not quite be what she bargained for. We also get our Bradley Whitford si ...

Race, politics, success, and resistance!

We could listen to Warren Littlefield talk all day long about television. The man is a legend in the business having resided over NBC during one of the most remarkable runs for a TV network ever. He also happens to be the Executive Producer for The Handmaid's Tale on HULU! Working side by side with Bruce Miller to deliver one of the most talked about, relevant, well produced television shows in recent memory. Jennifer White with Slacker radio sat down with Warren Littlefield to talk about succes ...

Here I am, come and get me...

The Handmaid's Tale on HULU follows up one of their most intense and violent episodes with something entirely different. In S2/E11 - "Holly" we essentially get a one woman show as Elisabeth Moss absolutely puts one of the best performances of her run on The Handmaid's Tale. As June finds herself in the middle of nowhere, having just seen Hannah and Nick taken away, she steels herself and focuses on the two things she can control. Herself, and the baby. The only break in the Elisabeth Moss show c ...

Yahlin Chang joins Mayday to discuss that gutwrenching episode of The Handmaid's Tale....because she is the one that wrote it! The Handmaid's Tale on HULU S2/E10 - The Last CeremonyThis was your not so friendly, or subtle reminder that Serena and Fred are straight up evil.Eeeeeeeeeeeeeevil.

O-T talks all things Luke!

Ok, we admit it, in season one we talked more than a fair amount of trash about Luke...and now we feel entirely justified! O-T Fagbenle joines Slacker Radio's Jennifer White for an interview to talk about all things Luke. Did he do enough? Does he blame himself? #TeamNick or #TeamLuke? All things revealed in our interview with actor O-T Fagbenle aka Luke from The Handmaid's Tale!

Gilead's Canadian Vacation!

The Handmaid's Tale ventures to the Great White North! Serena, Fred, and Nick take the Gilead show on the road to try and prove to the world that none of the horrible true things you've heard about them are true....but we all know how things end up with Stupid Fred in charge don't we? Moira, Luke and Erin lead the VERY unwelcoming party to greet the Stupid Fred and the gang and ultimately foil their evil plans as Nick delivers those Mayday letters and Luke finally "takes care" of something (afte ...

Janine = the real MVP

Unbelievable. They did it and we can't believe it. The Handmaid's Tale on HULU ends on a non-flashback happy moment! What an absolutely fantastic job by everyone in this episode. Yvonne Strahovski is absolutely award worthy in her performance in this episode. Madeline Brewer absolutely brings the heat and delivers some of the most purely human moments that this show has ever seen. Fred somehow ups his stock as THE WORST!!! Ugh. This show. Sarah and Justin are here to break it all down. Enjoy and ...

The effects of the bombing are far reaching

Who is alive, who is dead, and what will the repurcussions be?! What a fine follow up to The Handmaid's Tale on HULU EP6! Gilead is shaken to it's core by the bombing at the new Rachel and Leah center. Fred survives...hmm...but all is not well in the Waterford house. Commander Price did not survive the blast and the newly minted head of security, Commander Cushing, is looking to bring big trouble to the Waterfords. Serena takes things into her own hands. You may well be aware that our relationship with Nick on The Handmaid's Tale has been one frought with...frustration. Nick makes some really interesting decisions and says really moronic things sometimes. However, he is starting to come around now that season 2 is in full swing. So, lets learn a little more about Nick from the man that plays him. Max Minghella sat down with our hero, Jennifer White from Slacker Radio to talk all things Nick.

What just happened!?

Whaaaaaaaaaaat!? This episode is bonkers!! I guess we're dialing it up a notch on The Handmaid's Tale. Crystal Martin joins Justin as a very special co-host to breakdown Season 2/Episode 6 - "First Blood." The creep factor is high and the discussion points are plentiful in what may be the finest episode of this show yet. Did we need that scene? Really? We'll talk about it. Do we feel different about Serena? Hmmm. We'll talk about it. Join us for a full breakdown of an explosive...sorry...episode ...

If you guessed D) to have her child taken away from her and to be posted at a new home far away....YOU WIN! Its a gut wrenching episode. ...does that lady have a dog?

Just when you thought it was safe to go back into Gilead! Wow. When Serena Joy is away Fred will play, thus we get our introduction to creepy, psycho, hellish fever dream that is Jezebels. The only not terrible thing that we witness at Jezebels is a lovely....if heartbreaking reunion with Moira. 5: Lets talk about Episode 5: "Faithful"

Tue Oct 17 2017 (01:16:41)

The commander has taken a turn....a wrong turn

“Better never means better for everyone,” ....the understatement of the season.  The commander starts his quick turn to creepy-town as we get more into his character.
